Montclair University

Quartet-Fest is a day dedicated to String Quartets (String trios, quintets or sextets are also eligible). Join us and dive into the art of collaboration and rehearsal techniques. Pre-formed groups will work with faculty and special guest Mark Steinberg from the Brentano Quartet. Each group will have a chance to perform on stage in the beautiful Leshowitz Recital Hall at the Cali School of Music / Montclair State University and by the end of the day one lucky quartet will be named the winner with the top prize of a concert at the ASTA / NJ Spring Symposium.

Raffle prizes include gift certificates from Johnson Strings/Carriage House Violins, Clar Violins, Robert Ames & Shar.

Each group must have an ASTA member as a sponsor. Groups are accepted by teacher recommendation.
